Biography

John Cang is a nature photographer and instructor based in San Jose, CA. He enjoys photographing wildlife, landscape, and other nature subjects throughout North America. While under amateur photographer status his photography caught the attention of notable nature photographer John Shaw, who included three of Cang’s photographs in his book American Vision: Images By The Best Of Today’s Amateur Photographers.

John Cang conducts photography seminars and workshops throughout North America, and was a featured speaker at the New England Camera Club Council’s Photography Conference – the largest gathering of photographers in the nation, with over 1,300 people in attendance.

Stock Photography
For the past several years, John has been photographing and documenting wildlife utilizing various habitats surrounding San Francisco Bay, including tidal marshes and salt evaporation ponds. John also travels throughout North America in pursuit of inspiring landscape, wildlife, travel, and people images for his ever expanding stock photography file. See a sample of John's images.
