South Florida Wildlife
February 18 - 25, 2006

Limit 4 participants

One of North America's finest bird photography destinations is South Florida during the dry season. The weather is mild, and birds -- adorned in finest breeding plumage --  are concentrated around locations with water, food, and nesting habitat. From the tidal flats of Sanibel Island to the old growth cypress forests of Corkscrew we visit a variety of productive habitats to photograph birds, mammals, reptiles, scenics, and flora. Limit 3 Participants

From Banff to Jasper we photograph the most spectacular stretch of Canadian Rocky Mountains - at a time of year when wildflowers are abundant, waterfalls are at their thunderous best, and wildlife is more relaxed and easier to photograph. Click for details.

Comments From Previous Participants

John is the best trip leader I have met. He spared no effort in making the trip enjoyable and finding us good pictures. He took us to the right places at the right times. We got great sunrise pictures, lots of wildlife shots, waterfalls, and one magnificent rainbow. Also, John gave us many useful suggestions on technique and, when asked, composition, but unobtrusively and unassumingly.

Thank you so much for a wonderful time. I appreciate all the effort you put into finding wildlife for us. I enjoyed your cheerful disposition even when it was raining and we weren't so cheery ourselves. Hope to travel with you again.
